Government Schools Are Tracking The Mental Health Of Your Children

"Common Core is not about education, it is Technocracy’s initiative to collect life-long data on young students in order to condition them for the global citizenry. The 1934 Technocracy Study Course wrote about education as a “continental system of human conditioning’, which is exactly what we have today." TN Editor

Ohio Teachers Strongly Dislike Common Core Tests
Joy Pullmann, School Choice Weekly
The results of a survey of thousands of Ohio public school teachers vindicate years of warnings from Common Core opponents that the tests will be a train wreck – both because they demand technology far beyond what most schools can support and because Common Core itself is nebulous and unlikely to produce clear test questions.  READ MORE

Still uneasy about Common Core? Wait until you find out who birthed it

Though implementation of Common Core is credited to – or blamed on - the Obama administration, an education analyst says the foundation was laid by Hillary Clinton in the 1980s.

A Plea to Arizona Legislators: Reject Common Core
Heather Kays, The Hill

Common Core is not what its proponents promised, and lawmakers should not compound their mistake by carrying on with these bad standards. The Arizona legislature should take back control of the state’s education system by dumping Common Core and implementing better standards designed by Arizonans for Arizonans. READ MORE

Heartland’s Fault: Arizona House Panel Rejects Common Core

Arizona is tearing down its Common Core standards and returning education policy decision-making back where it belongs: closer to parents and school boards. This development has angered a reporter who witnessed the procedures in the Arizona legislature week. Heartland Institute Senior Fellow Joy Pullmann testified on September 24 before the Georgia Committee on the Federal Government’s Role in Education. Pullmann explained how the federal government has used Common Core to manipulate states and citizens; that Common Core is a creature of special interests married to federal coercion; that this arrangement transgresses against our American rights to self-government and rule by consent of the governed; and that this state of affairs cannot possibly benefit children, families, or society... READ MORE

New York Common Core Website Connects Kindergarteners To Sex Quizzes

Common core means total Federal Control of US education..

WHEREAS, the Common Core State Standards (CCSS) are a set of academic standards, promoted and supported by two private membership organizations, the National Governor’s Association (NGA) and the Council of Chief State School Officers (CCSSO) as a method for conforming American students to uniform (“one size fits all”) achievement goals to make them more competitive in a global marketplace..

5 REASONS COMMON CORE IS ROTTEN

1. Loss of Local Control: The Common Core Standards siphon power away from families and local schools and give it to the government and business leaders. Keeping the power at the federal level will result in our schools changing their standards each time a new administration steps into office.  The authority for our schools should stay with us, the taxpayers, not in Washington DC.
2. Reform that Relies on Standardized Tests: The Department of Education has committed 300 million dollars to the creation of these new tests, developed by two consortia (PARCC and SBAC). High stakes testing will ensure that there will be little effort to teach skills that are not tested.
3. Loss of Great Literature: The Common Core Standards recommends that older students spend 15% of their time in literature and 85% of their time reading informational text. Instead of reading the classics our children will be reading the riveting tome, “The Evolution of the Grocery Bag.”
4. Can We Afford All This Change?: The state checkbook is struggling with money during these difficult economic times. How can we afford all the new text books, all the testing, the training, the new resources, etc. The ongoing costs of Common Core assessments are projected at $177.2 million per year.  Three guesses where all the money will come from!
5. Data Collecting: Records of physical and mental health, inappropriate behavior, disciplinary actions, test scores, personal information, etc. will follow your child starting in pre-school to age 20. The information will be shared among government agencies and other private agencies. This distribution of information will be done without your consent or knowledge.

Fact: Common Core is the fundamental transformation of the education system.

Fact: Within the 2009 stimulus bill there was millions of $$ given to the DOE. The DOE said to cash strapped states, if you would like some $$ all you have to do is adopt the Common Core State Standards (CCSS) plus develop a P-20 Longitudinal Data Base. P-20 LDS is the data base that will be used to track children and... teachers starting in pre-school through the age of 20. There are fields for birth and death. Gov. Quinn recently stated that he wants to start tracking at birth. Search Illinois State Fiscal Stabilization Fund to read about this.

Fact: Millions of Bill & Melinda Gates’ Foundation $$ can be found woven throughout most all of CCSS.

Fact: At the 2009 Nat’l Conf. of State Legislatures Bill Gates is on video saying we will only know if this effort has succeeded when the curriculum & tests are aligned to these standards!! Wait a minute..I thought these were exclusive of each other. That’s what the administrator’s are saying.

Fact:  History shows us this is not a new thought. In a letter to Hilary Clinton shortly after she was elected senator, Mark Tucker, the then Pres. of Nat’l Center on Ed. & Economy eerily states that his plan to remold the entire American system into a seamless web that literally extends from cradle to grave and is the same system for everyone coordinated by a system of labor market boards at the local, state and fed. levels where curriculum and job matching will be handled by counselors accessing the integrated computer based program can be achieved.

Fact: The Nat’l Gov. Assoc. and the Council of Chief State School Officers (NGA & CCSSO) have copyrighted these standards. Do you know who these people are and what that means?? The NGA & CCSSO are private trade groups. They receive taxpayer $$ and received millions of $$ from the Bill & Melinsa Gates Foundation. They are not required to make much info. public. Copyrighted means no changes and nobody to call if one has questions.

The Nat’l PTA received millions $$ from the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation. Are we seeing a bit of recurring thread here yet???

Fact: David Coleman is said to be the architect for ELA. He is quoted as saying the 2 most pop. forms of writing in H.S. today is personal writing or presentation of personal writing. The problem with that is as you grow up you realize people in this world don’t give a @#it about what you feel or think. He also doesn’t have a problem with the book Dreaming in Cuban that is one of the text exemplars. In it the character Hugo can be found biting Felicia’s breast and leaving purplish bruises and Felicia learned that Hugo likes to be slapped. Hugo likes to call Felicia his @#$ch. That’s one of the non-fiction choices.

On to math. Jason Zimba, the lead writer of the math standards acknowledges that ending w/CC in H.S. could prelude students from attending elite colleges. In many cases the Core is not aligned with the expectations at the collegiate level. If you want to take calculus your Freshman year in college you will need to take more mathematics than is in the CC . His words, not mine.

Fact: Dr. Sandra Stotsky and Dr. James Milgram, the only two educators on the validation committee. DID NOT sign off on the standards. They felt they were too low.

Fact: The vision is to have each child on their own computer. Preferably a Microsoft computer. Oh, there’s that B. Gates again!!! With each computer comes a student identifier, but don’t worry, all info. will be secured! Or will it?. Remember from earlier in this post, P-20LDS?? Tons of personal student data will be asked. inBloom, a company that is leading the way to put student info. in/on the Cloud funded by guess who?? The Bill & Melina Gates Foundation states on its website they cannot guarantee that the data can be protected. There is also what is called a brief on the DOE website entitled Enhanced Teaching and Learning Through Educational Data Mining and Learning Analytics. There is also another little ditty on the DOE website called Promoting Grit, Tenacity, and Perseverance: Critical Factors for Success in the 21st. Century. This is a great read to understand where all this is going. I think this is the one where they call our children human capital!

One last fact: The Family Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA) that have been in place to protect our children has been watered down the last 2-3 years to now state that anyone that can claim they have an education purpose can obtain your child’s info.
